Supreme Productions
Supreme Recordings, Inc., later known as Supreme
Productions, Inc., was founded in 1961 in
Glendale, California by arranger/conductor/producer and virtuoso
organist Paul Mickelson.
The label with the motto "supreme in
artistry, quality, and ministry", released Pat Boone’s first
Christian-label recording. Other artists included the Good Twins, Helene Landrum, Joseph Bellesi, the Lang Sisters, Jim Bohi, and Ben & Beth Allen. Paul
Mickelson also produced a series of orchestral albums in London and
Stockholm under the name of the Supreme
Strings.
The company was sold to Zondervan in 1973.
