Paragon Associates/NewPax Records
NewPax was started by former pop rock music
producer and recording artist Gary S. Paxton in 1975. NewPax later
became a part of Paragon Associates.
Bob Mac Kenzie left
the Benson Company in 1975 to join Bill
Gaither in forming Paragon
Associates, Inc., a Christian communication and music company which
became the world agent representing the Bill and Gloria Gaither song
catalog.
Along with the Gaither music, Paragon developed
the music of Ronn Huff, Don Francisco, Stuart Hamblen, Gary S. Paxton and many other songwriters and arrangers. and produced
recordings by Don Francisco, Farrell & Farrell, Richard Roberts, Gary S. Paxton and others.
